Channel Layout
Flexible Equipment Configuration Solutions
System Architecture and Configuration
The PLS system offers a modular design, allowing for flexible combinations of different automated lock machines to meet the specific requirements of various terminals.
T-type: Middle Channel Configuration
Installed in the middle of the channel, responsible for handling the two twist-locks in the middle of the container. Suitable for terminals with sufficient channel width.
L-type: Side Channel Configuration
Installed on the side of the channel, responsible for handling the two twist-locks on one side of the container. Suitable for terminals with limited channel width.
G-type: Gantry Configuration
A gantry-style design that spans the top of the channel, capable of handling all four twist-locks. Offers the highest efficiency and automation level.
Configuration Options
Single-sided L-type Layout
- • Handles two locks on one side, requiring the truck to reverse for the other side.
- • Lower initial investment, suitable for terminals with lower traffic.
Double-sided L-type Layout
- • Handles all four locks simultaneously, no reversal needed.
- • Higher efficiency, suitable for mainstream terminal operations.
Mixed T-type and L-type Layout
- • A combination of T-type and L-type machines for comprehensive coverage.
- • Highly flexible, adapts to complex channel conditions.
