Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our PLS system.

1. Where is your product being tested?
We have deployed and tested at Nanjing Longtan Port. You are welcome to visit Nanjing, China for inspection in April 2026.
2. How does the product handle different types of twist-locks?
Our research on twist-locks basically covers all types available in the market. We have in-depth communication with major twist-lock companies such as GERMANLASHING and SEC. Currently, we use one set of fixtures to handle all locks and cones in both lashing and non-lashing positions.
3. What technical standards does the product adopt?
We are currently applying for EU CE certification, which is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
4. What is the product pricing?
4-position PLS-4G lock station lane: $2,000,000 USD 4-position + 2-position Type T lock station lane: $2,350,000 USD
5. How is after-sales service provided?
In the initial stage of product delivery, we will arrange technical personnel for on-site support for 3 months. We are currently planning to establish an after-sales service point in Singapore. In the future, we will provide technical support through a combination of remote service platform and on-site technical personnel.
6. What are the product stability and performance indicators?
MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures): Currently tested at once every 10 hours MMBF (Mean Moves Between Failures): Currently tested at once every 1000 vehicle operations MTTR (Mean Time To Repair): Currently tested at within 30 minutes for non-mechanical failures Additionally, the product system has a local server UI that can remotely access on-site faults.
7. What is the product lifespan?
We design the product engineering according to the requirement of 8-10 years.
8. What are the main components?
6-axis robotic arm: FANUC Sensors: [Specified sensors] Product frame: Meets coastal environment requirements including salt spray, humidity, oil stains and other environmental interference.
9. Product maintenance?
Divided into daily inspection, weekly inspection, and monthly inspection. We have training guidance documents.
10. Can detailed technical information be provided?
After signing a confidentiality agreement with us, we can provide phased technical exchanges to meet questions about terminal operation functions.
11. Where should the PLS be placed at the terminal?
We can provide technical solution design for placement location based on the terminal environment. Basic position: both sides of the shoreline, placed in the middle of 4-6 lanes, BRT mode.
12. Will BRT mode cause congestion and waiting for internal trucks?
Moving twist-lock removal and installation from the shoreline to the BRT mode position, if the PLS system operates normally, can reduce internal truck detours by using twist-lock transfer racks under the overall terminal layout.
13. How to handle PLS failures?
We can negotiate to set up a manual operation auxiliary lane at the terminal to meet emergency handling in special situations.
14. How do twist-locks in the twist-lock frame cooperate with PLS?
For twist-locks in the twist-lock frame, we will release twist-lock retrieval equipment in Q4 2026, which will enable automated equipment to sort twist-locks from the twist-lock frame to pallets and facilitate interaction between pallets and PLS.
15. Can the current pilot be conducted at our terminal?
Yes, we need to analyze the technical conditions and automation level of the terminal. We will issue a document on the technical requirements and testing requirements for the pilot.
16. What is the relationship between terminal automation level and PLS?
The terminal`s TOS, automation level of internal trucks, liners, vertical transportation, and the terminal layout plan are the basic information that needs to be understood.
